As Master Licensee ActionCOACH in Georgia, Patrick Coan is an inspiring leader to his team. He believes that successful coaches make a successful franchise.
Patrick incorporated Global IG, Inc. in February 2002 and was awarded two restaurant franchises. Then somewhere between looking at locations and deciding which would fit his goals and dreams, he was introduced to the ActionCOACH franchise opportunity. He found the Passion and the Heart he was looking for in a business and he knew that the ActionCOACH concept is the right fit. The rest so far, as they say, is history.
After accepting the ActionCOACH Master Franchise award for the territory of Georgia, he attended training May 2002 and started the ActionCOACH business in August 2002. He brings with him vast senior management experience in a Fortune 25 Company, Procter and Gamble (P&G).
At P&G he specialized is Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing and Customer Service. He started up and re-engineered organizations in different locations across the US and the world - Augusta Georgia, SacramentoCalifornia, New OrleansLouisiana, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, China, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and CincinnatiOhio. His was responsible for Strategic Planning, Supplier Development, IT Purchasing and Global Sourcing, among others.
Patrick also spent his early years, seven to be exact, in the U.S. Air Force as an Air Rescue Helicopter Aircraft Commander. The military assigned him in areas of Strategic War Planning and Supply Chain Management and took him to Florida, Indiana, California and South Korea.
He enjoys golf, reading historical fiction and collecting artifacts from around the world. He is a proud family man - a wonderful father, grandfather and husband.
Patrick is privileged to have his wife, Jackie as a full partner in the business. She brings a high level of experience to the team having been with ActionCOACH since 1998, helping to manage the Asian operations before joining Pat as a full partner in the Georgia business.
